SCRATCH-RESISTANT V-PLATEN
The V-shaped platen is made using a premium scratch-resistant material that is more transparent and durable than glass, allowing for better scanned images. It is manufactured using a different production technique so that it allows the user to scan deeper into the gutter of the book.
FLEXIBLE CRADLE FOR THICKER BOOKS
The V-shaped self-centering cradle is widely flexible for varying spine widths, with a proprietary roller-bearing system and on-the-fly adjustability ensuring optimal page contact, especially with delicate pages.
FINGER-LIGHT OPERATION
Improved lift mechanics make raising and lowering virtually a one-finger operation and virtually eliminates risk to fragile pages. The V-platen remains precisely where the user positions it and once lowered, both visible pages are captured in high resolution, creating an electronic page-by-page viewing experience.
