Local leadership remains in place as the nearly 90-year-old technology company strengthens its ability to serve customers while remaining true to the people and culture that built its success.
BOISE, Idaho – July 7, 2026 – For nearly 90 years, Fisher’s Technology has been on a mission to make technology easy. Along the way, the company built its reputation on local relationships, exceptional service, and making customers extremely happy. For more than 20 years, Fisher’s Technology and Loffler Companies have shared ideas, exchanged best practices, and built a trusted friendship within the industry. Over time, it became clear the two organizations shared the same values – a commitment to people, culture, and delivering an amazing customer experience.
Today, Fisher’s Technology is joining the Loffler Companies family through a strategic partnership built on shared values and a common commitment to customers, employees, and the communities they serve. This partnership unites Fisher’s, a privately owned technology company, with Loffler, a privately owned, family-operated business with more than 40 years of putting people first and delivering a world-class customer experience. While the two organizations serve different markets, the combination strengthens the resources behind Fisher’s without changing the people or trusted relationships customers rely on. Fisher’s will continue delivering managed IT, managed print, business communications, automation, and physical security solutions with the same team customers know and trust.
For customers and employees, it’s business as usual. Fisher’s will continue operating under its trusted brand with the same leadership team, account managers, technicians, engineers, and commitment to making customers extremely happy. What changes is the strength behind the people customers already know and trust. With additional expertise and resources, Fisher’s is even better positioned for the future.
Joining the Loffler Companies family marks an important milestone in Fisher’s long-term strategic plan. After serving as President for the past four years, Ty Grigsby assumes the role of Market President, continuing to lead approximately 200 team members across 14 locations throughout Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington. He will also join Loffler’s executive leadership team, ensuring Fisher’s continues to have a strong voice in shaping the future of the combined organization.

“I’m incredibly grateful to our owners for the trust they’ve placed in me and our leadership team,” said Ty Grigsby, Market President of Fisher’s Technology. “Fisher’s has built something special over the last nine decades, and our responsibility is to protect what makes it great while continuing to grow. Joining the Loffler Companies family gives us the additional resources and expertise to keep growing while serving customers with the local team they’ve always known.”

“After nearly 90 years, our responsibility wasn’t simply planning for the future – it was finding the right company to help carry Fisher’s forward while protecting everything our employees, customers, and communities value most,” said Chris Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Fisher’s Technology. “Loffler shares our commitment to people, culture, and long-term relationships, making them the right partner to help preserve what makes Fisher’s special and invest in its future.”
James Loffler, CEO of Loffler Companies, said joining forces was the natural result of years of mutual respect and a shared vision.

“This partnership is especially meaningful because Fisher’s Technology and Loffler Companies have built a trusted friendship founded on mutual respect and collaboration for more than 20 years. Through industry peer groups and countless conversations over the years, we’ve learned from one another and come to appreciate just how closely our values align. Both organizations have built their success by investing in their people, helping customers achieve their goals, and making a positive impact in the communities they serve. We are far more alike than we are different, which makes joining forces a natural fit. Together, we will build on the strong foundations of both companies to create new opportunities for our teams, deliver even greater value to our customers, and continue making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve for generations to come.”
As part of Fisher’s long-term strategic plan, Chief Executive Officer Chris Taylor, Chief Revenue Officer Eric Strand, and Chief Financial Officer JT Jones will gradually transition from their day-to-day responsibilities while continuing to support Ty Grigsby and the leadership team throughout the transition.
Together, Fisher’s and Loffler are better positioned than ever to strengthen customer relationships, invest in their employees, and continue delivering the local service both organizations are known for. By joining forces, the two companies are building on decades of shared values and positioning themselves for continued success for generations to come. Tech Yeah!
