Healthcare Information Systems Specialist and Project Manager
Dana Hamilton joined the Fisher's Technology Team as the Health Information Systems Specialist with almost 30 years working in the health information industry. Dana provides consulting and is excited to share her experience in Health IT services for Fisher's customers.
Dana began her career in Spokane, WA, working for Deaconess Medical Center. She has worked her way up from a Medical Records Clerk to Director of IT at one of Boise's largest primary health provider offices. Dana graduated from BSU with a degree in Health Information Management.
Dana is an adjunct professor at Boise State University, teaching Health Information Systems for the College of Health Sciences.
Dana met and married her husband, Gene, in Spokane. The couple moved to Boise, where Gene was raised, upon the announcement of their first grandchild, born in 2006. Dana enjoys Gene's gourmet cooking, teaching, biking, and golf. She's very excited to be a part of the Fisher's culture and hopes to be able to finally learn to knit, now that she doesn't work 24/7/365!
Chris Freeman joined the Fisher’s team when his companies Xenial Technology and Freemanz.net were acquired by Fisher’s in February 2013. Chris has been in the I.T. world for almost twenty years after his education at Ricks College and Boise State University. He spent his first eight years serving customers all over the Treasure Valley before becoming the I.T. Director for Hall Farley Oberrecht and Blanton for eight years.
Chris’ new passion is to develop Fisher’s I.T. services department that is truly customer centric and will help customers relieve the pain of traditional I.T. services.
Chris and his wife Jennie, have four daughter’s (three teenagers). Chris spends his free time biking and RVing with his family.
Enterprise Solutions Director
Reid Blackburn joined the Fisher's Technology Team as the Director of Enterprise Solutions after thirteen years in a Professional Services consulting role at a global Fortune 500 company and brings over twenty years of experience in the office solutions industry.
Reid oversees an elite team of Solution Design, Implementation, and Project Management professionals here at Fisher’s. They are passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience with a focus on improving process efficiency and reducing operating expense.
Fisher’s provides consulting and implementation support for our customers throughout the document lifecycle and more specifically in the Advanced Capture, Content Workflow Management, Print Management practice areas.
Throughout the years, Reid has been a trusted adviser to hundreds of notable clients in the intermountain west and is excited to be part of the great customer culture Fisher’s is known for.
He and his wife have three active children and recently returned to Boise after living in other parts of the region and are delighted to see how the Treasure Valley has transformed over the last decade.
Managed Print Specialist
Bill is Fisher’s Managed Print Specialist and resident old dude, who knows more about copiers, printers and fax machines than anyone (other than himself) could possibly care about. He began his career in Boise as a service and supply sales representative in 1980, when copiers used coated paper on a roll, typewriters and carbon paper made “multiple sets”, a time when personal computers, fax machines and mobile phones hadn’t been invented yet. Although he has witnessed amazing technological advancements throughout his career, one thing that has remained constant has been Bill’s passion for developing long term relationships with his clients, by providing unequaled customer support.
Today, Bill provides in depth analyses, including print volumes by device, the associated support costs for each and a plan for the optimization and consolidation of client output fleets. Working closely with the Fisher’s sales team and their customers, Bill’s focus has been in creating a financially and environmentally responsible copy/print strategy for the client. His recommendations for the reallocation and upgrading of current output devices and suggestions for improving workflows, never loses sight of his primary goal of providing substantial cost reductions for his new and existing customers.
